The Green Room AVL
The Green Room AVL is a gallery and dispensary which has stubbornly and exclusively represented WNC artists, farmers and hemp brands, and proceeds fund a free community space for small performances and art shows. Centrally located downtown, this space allows budding artists to try new things, and have an art space for spontaneous collaboration.
Impact from Helene: The 2nd location was set to open the week of the hurricane. A fallen tree and access to the building made the opening impossible until now, costing several thousands more in expenses and without income for the site. It also put a couple of newly trained employees out of an opportunity to work.
