Winter Magnolia Designs

I am a mural painter, print maker, and designer that has lived in Asheville, NC for over 20 years. The tagline for my business is "Art against all odds, rooted in deep love" My main focus over the years has been depicting animals, native plants, and quirky situations in a variety of images, sometimes funny, sometimes tender, and usually almost always with a pinch of sass.

My goal in my art is to inspire, bring comfort and humor to difficult feelings and to let the viewer know there is always light to be found, even in the darkest parts of our lives. I create art because I have to, it is something that has been a part of me ever since I can remember. I used to get in trouble for drawing on the walls when I was little, now I get paid to do it.

Impact from Helene: My family was without power, running water for weeks, our driveway is off the road and was covered in trees. We all lost our income and access to work. I had to spend the past month tending to my family's basic needs, and finding resources to keep us afloat, I have used the money that I had set aside to prepare for the holiday season ( my busiest time of the year) to get essential supplies to get us through the aftermath of the storm. I do not have funds to get art supplies to create new work to sell, and will not be able to prepare for any craft fairs or sales that will still be happening during the pre holiday season.

The ask: Donations to help get new art supplies and t-shirt/ apron blanks. As well as supplement the income loss from missing out on orders and holiday sales.

Direct donations: Venmo - @Tricia-Tripp-1
