Jaime Byrd Contemporary Art
Jaime Byrd is a US based contemporary artist with an Emmy nomination in film editing. She’s known for her landscape paintings which capture the emotional energy of nature from around the globe. Jaime’s paintings often transport the viewer to a familiar place both current and nostalgic through layers of bold colors and mysterious markings.
Jaime is a life-long learner and constantly explores new designs for paintings inspired greatly by nature, peeling paint, colors of rust, and a fascination with light and water. Due to the amount of time it takes to create a painting and how quickly they are collected, Jaime currently displays her available artwork only in her personal gallery located in The River Arts District of Asheville, NC. This allows her to personally meet collectors and connect them with herself and her artwork.

Impact from Helene: My gallery, located in the River Arts District of Asheville, NC was hit hard and resulted in catastrophic flooding. My entire working studio and gallery was flooded with over 5 feet of water. I lost original art, all my reproductions, tools, art supplies, frames, wood painting panels, furniture, entire kitchen, electronics, photography equipment, and all our office and business gear and supplies.
The ask: Donations of funds and gallery supplies. I also really need a carpenter to make sales counters and 2 work table/benches on wheels for my painting studio.
