The Village Potters Clay Center
Sarah Wells Rolland and George Rolland own The Village Potters Clay Center is a collective of seven resident potters. The 14,000 sq. foot facility houses seven private studios, three fully equipped educational studios, thirteen varying atmospheric kilns, a gallery with four showrooms and a Laguna Clays Distribution Center where we sell clay, tools, and Raku kilns.
Our extensive educational programs offer both in person and live online classes for adults, demonstration and hands-on workshops, as well as an Advanced Studies Ceramics Program (designed on Independent Study and Mentoring).
Impact from Helene: We had over 24 feet of water in our studios. We lost everything. We are currently refurbishing what we can and looking for a new facility outside the floodplain. We are rebuilding and hope to reopen in 2025.
